It’s time to turn yet another page of the calendar. Winter has gradually made its exit and the door is finally open for the spring who was waiting patiently for its turn. March has arrived and the flowers have begun to make their lovely appearance and the landscape is nothing short of beautiful. In such a pleasant weather, how can I not praise the bravery of flowers that have blossomed this spring despite a long and harsh winter. Oh, how I wish to be as brave as the flowers!
I turn to flowers
whenever I feel I’m about to wither away
for they bloom again
they aren’t afraid of new beginnings
even after they’ve been plucked
when I wither away
I hope I find the strength
to bloom again someday
Reasons to Travel in March
‘Tis the season of flowers
In March, mother earth unveils the garb of snow, and her beauty is manifested in the pretty flowers that are in full bloom almost everywhere. If you’re feeling march-ish (yup, I just created that word), head to the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington D.C. and experience spring that has finally crossed the threshold after a long winter.

The festival includes many fun activities and competitions such as the best window display competition, face painting, and traditional Irish dancing. March is a perfect time to take a trip to Ireland to indulge in Irish traditions. I’d recommend visiting the beautiful village of Carrick on Shannon in County Leitrim, to witness fantastic celebrations of St. Patrick’s Day.
